Hello to everyone. Here is Andrei, and I have some good news for the Pricerr Theme fans out there. We just released v1.3.5 of the most loved micro-job theme on the market, the Pricerr Theme. With this new update we have solved a couple of bugs, added some new performance improvements, and some new cool features. You will love this!
Facebook and Twitter Integrated
The new version brings Facebook and Twitter logins integrated straight into the theme. This new features integrates seamlessly with the wordpress api, and finally you can drop all those buggy and awful looking plugins you used before. Right now you just have to input your facebook app id/twitter details in backend and you will be ready to go.
Several bug fixes
With the new version of Pricerr Theme, some more minor bugs and glitches have been cleared and fixed. From the ones that were more important, we can say we have fixed the paying by credits, not registering the extra services bought; plus we have fixed the payment methods which were using sessions, and in some server environments were causing problems. Where do we get this new update:
Always the latest version available of the theme will be downloadable from your account in sitemile.com. Even if you purchased months ago, you will still have the latest version available in your account. If you still havent purchased the Pricerr Theme you can do it from the official page or you can purchase the sitemile membership.
How can I update:
You can update very easy, Here is a small guide how to this. First, you need to see what version of Pricerr you have installed. If its lower than 1.2.0, then will be harder to update since back then we still used the sitemile framework. Basically you need to deactivate the theme, and delete it (of course if you dont have custom mods). Then you upload the new theme and activate it.
If the current theme you have, is grater than v1.2.0 then you just have to copy over the new theme via FTP. Of course you have to pay attention to the custom mods you have done to the theme. Thats why you always need to do your modifications as child themes, whenever you do them. That way updates are much simpler.
Features expected in the next release:
We are innovating on every pricerr theme release, so we already have prepared a mini list of new features for the next release. First will be a newsletter with random jobs/chores that will be sent daily or monthly to each user. Another feature we are working on is user levels. We are still not sure what will raise the user level, but we are thinking the number of posted jobs, the number of bought jobs, or the number of completed jobs. Plus another new thing we are thinking to implement is the digital goods jobs, where people can sell downloadable goods, with instant download option. We think the next release should be here in less than 3 weeks or so, but for now we dont have a fixed date.
