the extensions are made for v.7.0 and onwards. You get extensions anyway if you have the pro version, and you get them if you pay the renewal fee of course. Or upgrade to the pro version (pay the price difference)

Yes, the theme by itself, wont allow you to create that by default, so you guessed right that we need to do some customisation work. We recommend the pro custom package from this, which could cover the amount of work https://sitemile.com/freelancer-theme-purchase-packages/
